Teresa Alcolado is a distinguished jurist and academic with a solid career in International and European Law. She currently serves as Professor of Private International Law at the prestigious Cardenal Cisneros and Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF), as well as Professor of European Law at Colegio Cardenal Cisneros and International Legal Advisory at the Centro de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF). In recognition of her academic excellence, she received the 2016 Award for Legal and Economic Sciences from the Royal Academy of Doctors of Spain. Since 2013, she has been a member of the Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation and an active member of the Spanish Association of Professors of International Law and International Relations (AEPDIRI).
PhD in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid, she has complemented her education with various specializations in legal, economic, and cultural fields. She is a University Expert in Insurance from the National University of Distance Education (UNED), holds a Master’s in Occupational Risk Prevention from the Complutense University, and is an Expert in Immigration Law from the same institution. Additionally, she has a specialization in Insurance Mediation from Grupo A and is an Expert in Indian Art from the Complutense University, where she also earned a degree in Art History.
Professionally, she practices law at the Illustrious Bar Association of Madrid and has advised prominent companies such as Spaininvest Holding GmbH since 2010, as well as Iberoeslava S.L. and Ambulancias Sao Joao, with whom she currently collaborates. Her extensive professional experience, combined with a solid academic background, positions her as a key figure in the teaching and practice of International Law. Her participation in the Master’s program provides students with a practical, rigorous, and multidisciplinary approach, enriched by her global perspective and ability to address legal challenges in an international environment.
