Miriam Rodríguez Contreras

Graduate in History from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Holds a Master's degree in “Advanced Studies in Modern History: The Monarchy of Spain (16th-18th centuries).” Speaker at several conferences such as the III Congress of Young Researchers in 2015 and the International Congress "The Court in Europe: Decline or Reconfiguration? The Monarchies of Spain and Portugal at the Turn of the Centuries (1640-1724)." She has also been part of organizing committees for international conferences like "Decline or Reconfiguration? The Monarchies of Spain and Portugal at the Turn of the Centuries (1640-1724)." Director and organizer of the I International Congress of Young Researchers UAM: “Connecting” the Atlantic World: networks, barriers, and exchange (1492-1830), held in April 2014 at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and the Museo de América.

Over ten years of experience as a tour guide and theme park staff have allowed her to apply her knowledge in economic history and sociology to consumer behavior analysis, marketing strategies, and trend analysis.

She has published in various scientific journals and contributed her research to several national and international conferences. Additionally, she has participated in science outreach activities such as the European Researchers’ Night, Science and Innovation Week, and courses focused on Innovation and Teacher Training.
