With experience in research, coordination of European projects, and data analysis. Recently, she worked as a criminologist and researcher for the Spanish Ombudsman. She also collaborated with the Vicki Bernadet Foundation, where she led hundreds of training sessions and coordinated the design of prevention programs at the European level. Over the years, she has trained more than 3,000 professionals and delivered more than 1,000 hours of training, both in person and online.
In parallel with her professional work, she has dedicated the last six years to completing her doctoral research, focused on the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) on adult mental health, especially concerning the development of mental disorders. During her research, she had the opportunity to interview individuals with severe mental disorders and explore the fields of medicine and psychiatry. She used a combination of semi-structured focus group interviews, structured individual interviews, and questionnaires to gain a comprehensive perspective for her study.
With a PhD in Psychology from the University of Barcelona and a Master’s in Global Crime from the University of Edinburgh, she is an experienced criminologist with a wide background in research, European project coordination, and data analysis.
