PhD in Art History from the Complutense University of Madrid, specialized in Japanese Art and History. Accredited by ANECA.
He has been a professor of Japanese Economy and Japanese Business Culture in the Degree in East Asian Studies at the Autonomous University of Madrid. He has authored nearly fifty outreach articles and around ten indexed scientific publications. He has delivered courses and lectures at nine Spanish universities, three in South America, and two in Europe, and collaborates regularly with the Embassy of Japan, the Japan Foundation, and Casa Asia in teaching and research matters. He has won several research awards and serves as a reviewer for various scientific journals, as well as a member of research groups, Japanese studies associations, and R&D projects for the Spanish government.
